Quick & Simple Method to Lighten Elbows, Knees and Neck Naturally

Ingredients:

Lemon

Cucumber

Turmeric powder

Equal parts of lemon and cucumber

Add a pinch of turmeric to the mixture (a little goes a long way, plus turmeric can stain)

Mix by crushing the cucumber to let all the natural juices out.

Apply with a cotton ball about 10 minutes before you shower

Do this daily.

DIY: How To Lighten Dark Lips Naturally

Option 1

1 makeup brush

1 teaspoon of freshly squesed lemon juice

1 teaspoon Vegetable glistering

1 Primrose capsule

Combine the ingredients and use the brush to apply on your lips every night Use the brush to massage the lips as well.

The next day if you have to go out remember to put on some protection from the sun. Shea butter is a natural sun screen so you can use that under your lipsticks or gloss.

Option 2

1 table spoon of honey

3 teaspoons of sugar

½ lemon juice

Mix and massage on lips gently for about 2 mins

Wash with warm water

Add some almond oil to lips

Repeat nightly until lips are lightened

DIY:Treat eczema and dry skin

100% Unrefined Shea Butter  2 tubs 8 0z  or 1 16oz (white)

Melt by placing containers in to a pan of hot water for approx. 5 minutes

Or directly in a sauce pan on the the stove until the oils are completely melted

Add

1 table spoon of honey

1 table spoon of olive oil

1 table spoon of castor oil

Cool the oil by placing it in the refrigerator or putting it in an ice bath

Add your essential oils after the shea butter has been cooled down so you don’t break down the molecules in the pamphrin and tea tree oils

10 drops of tea tree oil

Whip on high speed until its beautiful and fluffy

Place into containers and remember to ensure that there are no air pockets

Tip: You can use a plastic bag to eliminate mess when packaging

Another Whipped Shea Butter Hair Moisturizer Mixture

Ingredients:

100% Unrefined Shea Butter 16oz

1/4 cup of pure/organic coconut oil

1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil

2 table spoons of Jojo bar 

2 table spoons of almond oil

2 opened vitamin e capsules

Begin by melting the coconut oil and the Shea butter by placing containers in to a pan of hot water for approx. 5 minutes

Combine the Shea, Coconut and Virgin Olive oils together

Add 2 table spoons of jojo bar and 2 table spoons of almond old

As well as 2 opened vitamin e capsules

15 drops of vanilla oil

Blend on low speed for 15 to 20 seconds

Put into the refrigerator to harden

Break up and blend till smooth

Whipped Shea Butter Hair Moisturizer

It is always beautiful to try new things that work! so I came across this wonderful mixture while doing some research and I absolutely love it! Remember if you are allergic to any of the ingredients, please switch it up with something else that will work for you. 

Furthermore, adding additional oils is also something that you can do if you like and remember its good to measure and write down the amount of each ingredient you use so that the results are always consistent.

Ingredient:

SHEA BUTTER

1 OR 2 TABLESPOONS OF COCONUT OIL

Allow to melt 

Add Vitamin E (this acts as a preservative above 250g)

Lavender (antibacterial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory)

Whisk for intervals 5 mins at a time and allow for 20 min cooling time between intervals. Stop when you reach a desired consistency (cake batter smooth) 

Tip: Use a plastic bag for mess free filling into containers if you intend to give these as a gift.

Typically for contouring you want a dark brown that is matte. a powder is recommended so it blends easily, but some people do use cream or foundation for contour. The goal with the dark contouring colors is to make those areas appear smaller. The darkness draws less attention to those spots, for example if you have a larger forehead you would want to darken near the hair line with a dark powder and around the temples. This drawers people’s attention away from those areas and has them focus on the areas that are highlighted in the center.

Rachel Dolezal – Black or White?

Ever since she was a teen, Rachel Dolezal is said to have professed an affinity for black people. She has black siblings (her parents adopted four black kids), she chose a college where she could immerse herself in racial issues, and she married a black man and built a reputation as an advocate for civil rights.

Rachel A. Dolezal a university instructor in African-American Studies at Eastern and the current president of her local National Association for the Advancement of colored People (N.A.A.C.P.) in a rare twist has suddenly turned into a subject of national debate. As a University instructor in African-American studies, Mrs. Dolezal has claimed for years that her heritage is partly black, but her parents say that this is a not true.

This has caused quite a stir on social media websites, with a new hashtag  #RachelDolezal  being added to quite a number of twitter and instagram posts like the ones seen below:

Do you think that this situation is being blown out of proportion? I think that if she lied about being black, I would like to know the reasons why.

Kyemah shared several images of herself at her school prom on Instagram and Twitter earlier this month, while also revealing that she had earned the coveted title of Prom Queen. 

She went on to speak out against those who try to bring other people down with negative words and harsh insults, while urging her followers to embrace their individuality and their creativity. 

'As an artist I have a completely different point of view compared to most individuals. I am extremely analytical and observant,' she explained. 'Throughout the world, we have people who do not notice each other’s essence and humanity. 

'We stunt our collective spiritual growth by allowing assumptions and stereotypes to cloud our mind and thus our physical reality. We let these negative ideas get the best of us, and in turn a world of isolation is manifested by our lack of sensitivity and desire to sympathize with each other.

'Sometimes we get trapped in our own prejudice ways. We don't notice how the idea of a particular type of person changes the way we live our lives.'
