Red Carpet criticism is known to be E!’s Fashion Police thing but this time, host Giuliana Rancic may have taken things too far. Rancic commented on actress and
singer Zendaya’s choice to wear dreadlocks on the Oscars red carpet, saying, “I feel
like she smells like patchouli oil. Or weed. Maybe weed?”
Zendaya took to Twitter on Monday night to respond to Rancic’s comments, calling her
remarks “outrageously offensive”. I actually applaud this young lady for such an
educated and correct response. What do you think? Did you think Rancic took it
too far? She did apologize for her comments later though but the damage had
already been done.
